Shift + N

Shift + N is a keyboard shortcut that has different functions in different programs but most importantly it is used to make the letter "n" capital.

What does Shift + N ?

One needs to press and hold the "Shift" key on the keyboard and press the "N" key with it.

• Shift + N in Excel:

In Microsoft Excel, if you choose to press the "Shift + N" key, it will capitalize the letter "n".

• Shift + N in Word:

In Microsoft Word, Shift + N lets you capitalize the letter "n".

However, if you choose to press"Ctrl + Shift + N", it will let you change the font size and styles.

• Shift + N in Browser:

In all the major browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Opera), the Shift + N key is used to capitalize the letter "n". and pressing "Ctrl + Shift + N" will open a new private window.

• Shift + N in Outlook:

In Outlook, one needs to press "Ctrl + Shift + N" to apply the normal style to your mails.
