Ctrl + I also known as Control + I is a keyboard shortcut commonly used to italicize or unitalicize text.
How to use the Ctrl + I?
One needs to press and hold the "Ctrl" key on the keyboard and press the "I" key with it.
In Apple Mac, one needs to press "Command + I".

In Microsoft Excel, if you choose to press the "Ctrl + I" key, it will change the text font of the highlighted cell or cells.
In Microsoft Word, Ctrl + I lets you italicize the selected text.
In Mozilla Firefox, Ctrl + I key is used to open the page info window. While in Internet Explorer, it will open the favorites sidebar.
In Microsoft Outlook, Ctrl + I is used to apply italic formatting to text.
Press the "Ctrl + Shift + I" shortcut key to switch to Inbox.
