F11

F11 also known as Function 11 key is a keyboard shortcut that is mainly used in browsers to enter or exit full-screen mode. It also serves other purposes depending on the program.

How to use it?

Just click the F11 function key in any program to see what it does.

• F11 in Mac computers:

In Apple Mac, the primary function of the F11 key is to turn down the audio.

• F11 in Excel:

In Microsoft Excel, the F11 key is used to create a bar chart of the selected data. Pressing the "Shift + F11" key will insert a new worksheet and the "Alt + F11" key is used to open the Microsoft visual basic for applications editor.

• F10 in Outlook:

In Outlook, the F11 key is used to enter a name in the Search address books.

• F11 in Browser:

In all the major browsers, the F11 key is used to enter or exit the full-screen mode.
