Ctrl + U also known as Control + U is a keyboard shortcut used to underline the selected text or open the source code in a browser.
How to use Ctrl + U?
One needs to press and hold the "Ctrl" key on the keyboard and press the "U" key with it.
In Apple Mac, one needs to press the "Command + U" to underline any text or press "Command + Shift + U" shortcut keys to open the Utilities folder.

In Microsoft Excel, if you choose to press the "Ctrl + U" key, it will underline the highlighted text.
In Microsoft Word, Ctrl + U lets you underline any selected text.
In all the major browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera), pressing Ctrl + U will open the source code of the page in a new tab.
In Microsoft Outlook, Ctrl + U is used to mark a mail as unread.
