Ctrl + 0 also known as Control + 0 is a keyboard shortcut that is often used to restore the default zoom level in an Internet browser but it serves a different purpose in different programs.
How to use Ctrl + 0?
One needs to press and hold the "Ctrl" key on the keyboard and press the "0" key with it.
This shortcut is for numeric zero "0" not to be confused with the letter "o".
- Ctrl + 0 in Excel:

- Ctrl + 0 in Browser:
In Microsoft Excel, if you choose to press the "Ctrl + 0" key, it will hide the column containing the active cell or multiple columns if more than one cell is selected.
In Microsoft Word, Ctrl + 0 lets to add or remove space before a paragraph.
In all the major browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera), Ctrl + 0 key is used to change the zoom level back to its default setting.
