Blogging is about YOU and sharing Your thoughts, Your views, Your ideas, Your experiences, with the world in Your own unique way.

A study conducted showed that in March 2019, over 4.4 Million Blogs were published every day. And over 409 Million people read more than 20 Billion pages on WordPress each month in 2020.

With such huge numbers, you might be thinking "How will I be able to make my Blog popular and stand out?

I'm going to share with you a few of my tips and tricks on How to become a successful blogger

As you can see from the above image, in this article, I am going to discuss and explain a few of my tips and tricks of Blogging

1Daily Uploading of Blogs & Updates

Now that you have decided to start Blogging, setting up a Blogging schedule is very important. Everyone has a different routine, whether its at work or at home. Having to set up a Blogging schedule around your routine can get a bit tricky at times.

I would suggest you note down in a notebook or on your smartphone, points that come to your mind throughout the day. And then convert your ideas into words when you sit to write your Blog.

How to Start a Successful Blog

There are millions of people who are Blogging at this very moment and in order for you to keep your Blog popular, you will need to write and publish a Blog Daily. The content of your Blog matters more than the size of it. There is no hard and fast rule of how big or small your Blog should be, as long as it captivates your audience.

As for your previous Blogs, keep reviewing them on a daily basis to check for any comments or questions. Answer them and keep updating if needed. By keeping your Blogs fresh and updated it gives your readers and followers a sense of trust and confidence in You, the Blogger.

2Target Audience

Who is your target audience?

Very plainly put, your Blog's target audience are the readers who will benefit the most from your Blog. They are the people who will connect with the content of your blog and appreciate it.

Therefore, before publishing, you should carefully select your target audience. Correct targeting of your audience helps you to create better content for your Blogs.

The right audience will ask you the right questions and in turn have their questions answered through your Blog and find a lot of value in it. This will make you a more successful Blogger, as your audience will keep coming back for more and recommend your Blog to their friends and family.

Interactions with your audience is a very essential part of being a Blogger.

This builds trust and relationship between you and your audience. If you're selling something in your Blog, the right targeted audience will readily buy it from you, as they have already built a level of trust with you.

3 Goals

Like in any other business venture, you need to start off by defining your goals for the business to make it grow and be profitable. Blogging is no different. You need to sit and define your goals for Blogging and then diligently follow them.

If you have decided that you will publish at least 4 Blogs a month, that equates to 1 Blog per week. Making sure that you follow up on these goals will define your success as a Blogger.

4 E-Book

What is an E-Book?

An Electronic book also knows as an E-Book is a book published in a digital form. E-Books consist of text, images and are readable on any electronic device. With the advancement in technology publishing, an E-Book is now easier than publishing an actual traditional book.

In 2017 almost 266 Million E-Books were sold, and this number only keeps on growing. I would encourage every Blogger to also publish an E-Book with regards to their Blogging topic.

If a reader downloads or subscribes to your E-Book you make money on each and every hit. If a reader buys your E-Book you make money.

Simply put, you publish and upload your E-Book once and it keeps generating money for you on a regular basis.

5 Emailing List

Now that you have become a Blogger and have a fair amount of audience, it is very important that you make a list of all audience's Email IDs and create your own custom audience.

This will benefit you immensely when you need to post a new Blog, sell a Product, etc. as you will be in possession of a huge database of customers to forward it to.

6 Ignore Traffic Statistics

My hard and fast rule for every new Blogger has always been that, once you start your Blog, DO NOT go and look at the statistics of it. For at least a period of 3 months, all you have to do is, to concentrate on your Blogging.

How many people have read your Blog?

How popular is your Blog?

All these statistics should not matter for the first 3 months. After a period of 3 months, you can review the statistics of your Blog and analyze its performance.

After 6 months of publishing your Blog, if you don't find a good reception towards it, then I would recommend you seek an expert's opinion/advice as to what needs to be changed and how and act accordingly.

7 Unique Content with Examples & Images

Some of you might say it's hard to come up with unique content every time. Yes, to a certain extent I agree with you. But it's not impossible.

What is a unique content?

What I write and the way I write it is going to be completely different from the way you or anyone else writes it. The style, language, words, grammar, etc are all going to be different. Writing in any form should be unique to its writer.

Something which no one else can duplicate. And it is this uniqueness that makes you stand out in a crowd. It's easy to copy and paste others' work, but what will be appreciated is your honest work.

Secondly, I cannot stress enough the need to have examples and images in your blogs.

Examples help your audience to understand more deeply the content it is based upon. A study of school children has shown that they are more inclined to understand and grasp topics when explained with an example in it. And the same applies to our everyday understanding and learning of things.

Every civilization that has passed through time has always relied on images as a form of communication. Our minds and eyes will tend to focus on and decipher images faster than words.

And hence having an image in your Blogs makes it easier and more comfortable to read and understand. Sometimes an image can explain much more than words can.

8 YouTube Video Embedding into your Blog

Another very important tip I want to share is the benefits of uploading a video on YouTube. YouTube by far is the most popular online video-sharing platform in the world. You can easily upload a video of yourself speaking about your Blog and its content and embed it in the Blog as well.

What happens here is that you will be getting exposure as well as a passive income for your content from YouTube as well as from your Blog.

Not to forget the fact that a video embedded into your Blog greatly enhances the quality of it.

9 News Heading

By News headline what I am referring to is the heading of your Blogs. If you notice the news headline in any newspaper or even the TV news channels, you will see that their headlines are always eye-catching and attention-grabbing.

Getting an audience to read your blog is a big challenge for every new Blogger. And having a great captivating headline that grabs your audience's attention becomes a game-changer.

A great headline should lure and entice the audience to read your Blog.

10 Regular Sharing on a Social Media Platform

I firmly believe that Social Media platforms are still the best way to reach an unlimited audience for your Blog. In 2019, an estimated 2.95 billion people were using Social Media.

With such a vast reaching audience, it is imperative that you share your Blog on as many platforms of Social Media as you can in order to get maximum exposure and feedback.

Check Points for Blog Publishing

So, these were a few of my tips and tricks that will help you in becoming a successful blogger. But always remember, as I said in the beginning, Blogging needs commitment & a positive mindset. Blogging should not be considered as a part-time job, or for that matter a 9-5 job either. Rather it should be your passion.

Blogging can be done at any time, from anywhere by anyone about anything in any language. Find a topic, an idea that excites you and you want to share with the rest of the world.

You'll be pleasantly surprised as to how many people find it interesting to read. And the best part is that you earn money and become famous while doing something you love.

For me, that's what Blogging is all about
